Meet Nazmun Rozon! Naz first moved to the Kawartha region in 2007 with her husband. Born and raised in Fiji Islands and having left with little knowledge of her ancestry, she has always been intrigued by Indian cuisine, she believes its her way of connecting to her heritage. Naz is no stranger to the town of Fenelon Falls. A restauranteur for 8 years previously and with over 10 years of management in the restaurant industry, working for local restaurants in the Kawarthas, Nazmun decided it was time to turn her dream and passion into reality when she found her favorite location come up for lease. Nazmun invites you all to join her at Lotus Indian Bistro. She is also thankful to the wonderful community for all the support and care they have shown!
Meet Chef Mitch Alexander! He is a long time local of the Kawarthas and always finds himself back here, surrounding himself with the bounties this beautiful region has to offer. A recent graduate of Fleming College's culinary management program and a life-long cook, he draws his inspiration from what - and with whom - he is surrounded by. He is equally inspired to constantly expand his own palate and in turn, his understanding of worldly cuisines.
His passion for fresh, scratch-made and flavour packed food is what landed him on our team. Here he has an opportunity to both learn and help our community learn and delight in all of the robust flavour and culture Indian cuisine has to offer!
